Kiyama

We transformed an old commercial kitchen with a dropped ceiling and flickering fluorescent lights into a warm, inviting, functional kitchen with walnut cabinetry and industrial finishes. Custom details were designed around the way this specific family lives day to day, including custom milled stainless-steel pegs cantilevered from the wall to create a drying rack for plastic bags, a chalkboard wall, and two built-in seating options, one of which was fashioned after an izakaya bar.
